tERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings for classes, workshops, events and other creative activities provided by Studio Lucerne (“Studio Lucerne”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By booking a class, workshop or event with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Bookings
Places in our classes and workshops are limited and are confirmed once payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed with us.
Bookings are personal and may not be transferred to another person without prior agreement from Studio Lucerne.
Please provide accurate contact information when booking so that we can contact you regarding your booking.

2. Payment
The price of each class, course or event will be stated at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation by the customer
For cancellations made 90 days or more before the start of a course or event, we will provide full refund.

For cancellations made 40 days or more before the start of a course or event, we will provide 50% refund.
If you are unable to attend a class, we are not normally able to provide a refund or replacement session.
Where appropriate, you may request to transfer your place to another person, subject to our approval.

4. Cancellation or changes by Studio Lucerne
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or change a class, workshop or event where this is reasonably necessary, including because of insufficient enrolment, staff availability, illness, venue issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we cancel an event, customers will be offered another appropriate option.

5. Missed classes
If a participant misses a class due to illness, holiday, personal circumstances or any other reason, the class will normally still be considered used and cannot be refunded.
If we are able to offer a replacement session, this will be at our discretion and subject to availability.

6. Children's classes and supervision
Parents or guardians are responsible for providing accurate information about their child's age, needs, allergies and any relevant medical or behavioural information before the class begins.
Children must be collected at the agreed finishing time of their class.
Parents/guardians must inform us if a child has any condition, allergy, additional need or other circumstance that may affect their participation or safety.
Studio Lucerne will take reasonable steps to provide a safe and welcoming environment, but parents/guardians remain responsible for ensuring that the activities offered are appropriate for their child.

7. Allergies, medical conditions and special requirements
Please inform us in advance of any allergies, medical conditions, accessibility requirements or other circumstances that may affect participation.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed requirements where possible. However, we cannot guarantee that every activity, material or environment will be suitable for every participant.

8. Materials and artwork
Unless otherwise stated, the materials required for the class are included in the advertised price.
Participants understand that creative activities can involve paint, glue, clay and other materials that may stain clothing or belongings. We recommend wearing suitable clothing.
Artwork created during classes belongs to the participant unless otherwise stated and will at the very latest be able to receive them on the last day of the course to take home.
Studio Lucerne is not responsible for artwork or personal belongings that are lost or damaged after they have been taken home or left unattended.

9. Behaviour and safety
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, other participants, the studio and studio property.
We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave a class or event if their behaviour presents a significant safety risk, seriously disrupts the activity, or prevents other participants from taking part.
Where a participant is asked to leave for behavioural or safety reasons, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

10. Photography and filming
We may occasionally take photographs or videos during classes and events for promotional purposes.
We will only use identifiable images of children for promotional purposes where the appropriate consent has been provided by their parent or legal guardian.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us in advance.

11. Personal belongings
Participants are responsible for their own belongings while attending Studio Lucerne.
We cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

12. Liability
We take reasonable measures to provide a safe environment and to conduct our activities responsibly.
However, participants take part in creative activities at their own risk, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by law.

13. Private events
For private parties, children's birthdays, team-building activities and other special events, additional booking conditions may apply.
These may include a deposit, minimum number of participants, cancellation period, event duration and additional charges. These conditions will be communicated to the customer before the booking is confirmed.

14. Changes to classes or programmes
The content, materials, teachers and format of a class may occasionally need to change.
We will endeavour to ensure that any changes do not materially affect the experience advertised.

15. Privacy
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, how long it is retained, and when it may be shared with third parties.

16. Website information
We aim to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date. However, photographs and examples of artwork are illustrative and the final projects produced during a class may vary.
Prices, dates, availability and programme details may change from time to time.

17. Intellectual property
The Studio Lucerne name, logo, website content, photographs, graphics, written materials and other original content are owned by or licensed to Studio Lucerne and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our permission.

18. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Switzerland.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any rights that consumers have under applicable mandatory law.
