As the course progresses, children also have the opportunity to choose subjects and ideas that genuinely interest them and develop their own personal pieces. I'll be there to guide, encourage and support them - without taking over their creative process.
Integrated into the programme will be opportunities for participants to present and talk about their work. It provides children something more: the experience of standing up, explaining their ideas, talking about their work and sharing something they are proud of. These are skills that reach far beyond the art studio. The ability to explain an idea and be comfortable sharing it with others. I believe developing these skills through creativity from a young age can be a wonderful life skill.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Structured classes exploring a variety of topics in a fun and inclusive environment.
During the final class family members will be invited to a group exhibition. The children will get the opportunity to present everything they have created over the previous weeks.

LEARNING TECHNIQUES. EXPLORE THEIR CREATIVE SIDE
WHAT WE DO
Each week, children are introduced to a different art medium, technique or theme.
The aim is to give them a broad foundation in art while keeping the experience playful and engaging. They might explore drawing, painting, colour, mixed media or other creative techniques, building their confidence as they go.
WHEN & WHERE
Kids courses are on Monday and Wednesday afternoons at the Lili Center, Alpenquai 40A, 6005 Luzern
Mondays
Kids (16:00-17:00) 1hr
Teens (17:15-18:45) 1.5hrs
Wednesdays
Kids (17.15-18.15) 1hr
Teens (18.30-20.00) 1.5hrs
(Kids: 6-10 yrs and Teens: 11-17 yrs)

more than an art class
Going to a creative art class not only encourages creativity, but also supports children’s development in many other important ways.
Empathy
Children learn to understand how their peers feel about their art. They see things from another person's point of view.
Kind Communication
Kids practice giving constructive feedback. They learn how to share their thoughts without hurting feelings.
Active Listening
Students pay close attention to their classmates' work and ideas. They wait for their turn to speak and show respect.
Confidence & Resilience
Hearing good words builds self-esteem. Learning to accept helpful tips teaches children to see mistakes as steps to grow.
Teamwork
Working together in a creative space helps children trust one another. They learn to value different ideas and support group goals.
Critical Thinking
Kids look at art with care. They figure out what works well and how to make a project better in a smart way.

You’ll soon have the opportunity to book your child’s place in our courses for January–April 2027.
Places for consecutive courses (April - June) are offered first to our students who already secure a place from January, giving them the opportunity to continue their learning journey with us.
Bookings for our April–June 2027 courses will open from 1 February 2027. If you’re interested in joining the summer course, we encourage you to plan ahead and subscribe to our updates so you’ll be among the first to know when bookings open and spaces are available.
If your preferred course is already full, you can also contact us directly to join the waiting list. This means you’ll be among the first to be contacted if a place becomes available.
